Welcome to the Town of New Paltz website!  We are now able to provide instant, up to date information, generated directly from Town Hall. With our new website, important, timely information such as Town emergency information will be able to be posted instantly. Necessary forms pertaining to Town business will also be available.  Explore the calendar in the upper right hand corner of the home page; click on the name of the month for a detailed calendar page for that month.

We are continuing a complete update, please check the website often.

Announcements:

Is your street wired for Cable?  If cable television is not available on your New Paltz street, please leave a message with your name, New Paltz address and telephone number at the office of Town Supervisor Toni Hokanson, 255.0604 x1.  Call by June 1, 2008 - the Time Warner construction fund will be closed soon.

Southern Ulster Alliance Town-wide Yard Sale:  Saturday, May 24 9:00am-4:00pm, Sunday, May 25 11:00am-4:00pm, Monday, May 26 9:00am-2:00pm.  New Paltz residents who would like to participate should call 255.0604 x1 to register.  A registration fee of $3/address will be used to advertise the communities-wide event and also to publish a list of participating homes.  Registration deadline is Monday, May 19.  Other communities participating are Lloyd, Gardiner and Marlborough.  Interested residents in those areas should call their respective Town Halls in order to register.

Free Dump:  Saturday, April 19 - Monday, May 26. Materials will be accepted 9:00 - 5:00pm, Tuesday through Saturday (and on Monday, May 26th).  For more information, call the landfill at 255-8456 or e-mail Recycling Coordinator, Laura Petit, recycling@townofnewpaltz.org.

Spring Pick-Up:  The Highway Department will begin picking up brush on April 7th.  For more information, call 255-5050.

Assessor's Office:  Former New Paltz Town Assessor Michael Dunham has returned to process work for the current assessment review process.  His office hours are Monday, 8am-12 noon, Tuesday, 4-7pm, Wednesday, 4-7pm, Thursday, 4-7pm, certain Saturday mornings, also available.  For more information, or to schedule an appointment, call Cindy at 255-0103 x3.
