-A A +A

County Executive Michael Hein has established a Community Advisory Committee comprised of New Paltz residents to provide input to the County on alternatives available for replacing the Carmine Liberta Bridge, which crosses the Wallkill River on Rte 299 in downtown New Paltz. The County Executive has indicated a temporary bridge will be in place prior to any work being done on the bridge. Construction is scheduled for 2016.  Support for the Committee is being provided by the Ulster County Planning Department and the Department of Public Works.
