Clarification re: Electric Energy Provider for CCA

If you recently received a letter from Central Hudson regarding a change to your electric energy provider, we'd like to offer some clarification. You are still a member of the Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program; Columbia Utilities is simply the new provider chosen at renewal by the CCA, which provides the fixed rate of 6.573 cents/kWh for 100% renewable-sourced electricity the next 3 years (through June 2024). This was explained in a letter sent to all eligible customers, mailed on May 19th (see attached .pdf). Unfortunately, Central Hudson did not use the same language and this has caused some confusion.
