NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC MEETING WILL BE HELD 

BY THE TOWN OF NEW PALTZ PLANNING BOARD,  

TOWN OF NEW PALTZ, COUNTY OF ULSTER  

OCTOBER 26, 2020 

At 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard. 

PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS SCOPE OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT FOR PROPOSED NEW PALTZ CELL TOWER 

The Town of New Paltz will hold a public meeting via Zoom on October 26, at 7 pm, to review issues related to the proposed Homeland Towers LLC project to build a 150-foot commercial cellular tower at 60 Jansen Road, in a residential neighborhood.

The purpose of the meeting, called a “scoping meeting” is to identify the relevant issues that need to be discussed in the NYS Environmental Impact Statement on the project. The Town of New Paltz Planning Board has issued a positive declaration stating that there can be significant adverse environmental impacts associated with the tower, accessory equipment and the proposed access road.
