Much like a lighthouse, the New Paltz Opioid Overdose Prevention & Response Team (OOPRT) is vigilant in its mission to offer help and hope to those navigating through the “storms and rough waters” that are often present in the lives of those who are living with an opioid use disorder or addiction.

The New Paltz Opioid Prevention Team (OPT) is a collaborative partnership working together to address the needs of the community and provide hope and help to those facing the challenges caused by a substance use disorder. Our members work with an extremely large network of dedicated people and organizations across Ulster County and the Mid-Hudson Region.
