- Review recommendation of the NPPRRC: Any time an officer stops a civilian, they must provide the person with a business card containing their name and badge number and a clear reason for the stop (no “do you know why I pulled you over?”) allowed.
- Review recommendation of the NPPRRC: A discipline matrix be created for the NPPD within the next six months which includes penalties for unauthorized use of force and failure to utilize body cameras.
- Review and discussion newly issued policy 140.0 Personnel File FOIL Request. Policy issued to address the repeal of Article 50-a and the New York State Civil Rights Law and provides guidance on how requests are processed.
- Review and discussion of revised policy 50.2 Electronic Recording of Interviews and Interrogations. Policy revised with updated definitions, municipal training council updates and the interview of juveniles.
- Review and discuss the Citizens Police Academy Curriculum
- Review and referral to the Town Board for approval, the hiring of Meghan E. Miller as part-time dispatcher.
