Minutes of the Meeting of July 17, 2023

1. Introduction

Present: Rich Whitney, Robert Ferri, Ted Nitza, Kenji Tierney, Lauren McPadden

• Meeting called to order: 7:28pm
• Ted motions to accept minutes. Rob seconds. 

1. Planning Board Meeting Assistance (An EnCB Member Attends)

• July 24^th - Rob can attend
• Aug 14^th – Ted can attend

1. Town Projects under Review by the Planning Board

• 350 North Ohioville Planning Board to draft letter of approval
• 15 Shivertown Road – Lot Line revision
• 27 North Putt (Freihfoers) Asphalt being removed from inside wetlands buffer.  DEC will be listed as a permitting agency on modified EIS.

1. Other Groups of Interest to the EnCB

• Ulster County Environmental Management Council Meeting
  • No meeting scheduled
• Town of Gardiner made a request for Rob Ferri to speak to them about the dangers of algae blooms in the Wallkill river.
• Ted- Village Update
  • No meeting scheduled
  • Larger project (New Paltz Apartment, The Pit etc…) still on hold
  • Still looking for 1 new member and high school student member

1. New Business

• Rob presented Electric Vehicle Charging zoning ordinance proposal to Planning Board and will attend July 24th meeting where it will be under discussion
