With all the snow that has recently fallen, combined with the amount of snow and rain we are expecting, we are facing significant anticipated flooding challenges. 

Minor flooding is expected along Springtown Road this evening and the Wallkill River is projected to crest tomorrow.
 

In consultation with Ulster County and New Paltz Emergency Services, the Town of New Paltz strongly urges people not to travel during this predicted period of high winds, with heavy snow, and rain (https://www.facebook.com/HudsonValleyWeather).
Expect local flooding, trees, and tree branches down on local roads.
