Leaf Pickup Starting the Week of 10/23/2023

The Town Highway department will start its fall leaf pickup starting the week of 10/23/2023.              

1. Piles of leaves must be placed as close to the shoulder of the road as possible.
2. Please do not pile around poles or trees as the truck has a hard time navigating around fixed objects.
3. Leaves only will be picked up. Please no sticks or other foreign material in the piles, this could cause a breakdown of the equipment and end the leaf  pic p season.

All roads in the Town will be serviced multiple times, you may put piles out more then once. We will continue going around until piles are gone or the first lasting snow.  There is over 120 lane miles of road that will be covered and only one truck to do the work so we ask for patience, no appointments for pickup will be made. Leaf pickup will be done by plow routes to ensure that nothing is missed.
