RESCHEDULED - On-The-Spot Narcan Training

RESCHEDULED TO MARCH 7TH

February's in-person On-The-Spot Narcan training is RESCHEDULED to March 7th - it will still be taking place in the Community Room at Elting Memorial Library, 93 Main Street in New Paltz, from 6PM-7PM.

Several years ago through the New Paltz opioid overdose prevention response team we began working with a number of local bars, taverns restaurants and other community organizations to create emergency Narcan stations in the event that someone encountered an individual who might be experiencing an opioid crisis. Today we have 15 of those locations within New Paltz and that number is going to increase in the very near future. We created a Google Maps link so that you can have a sense of where those locations are in new Paltz and please share this video share the link help us spread the word it’s really important for us to know what’s up available within the community especially in regards to opioid overdose prevention.
