CARES Van will be at the Joyce-Schirick VFW Post 1386 on Monday, November 6, from 10:00am - 1:00pm to help serve our country’s heroes ahead of Veteran’s Day. Constituents can stop by anytime from 10:00am - 1:00pm to receive direct assistance from our team of trained caseworkers and our Director of Veterans Affairs. More information below:

November 9 – CARES Van Stop at Restorative Justice Center with Social Security
Our office is bringing back the Social Security Administration to Ulster County with our C.A.R.E.S. Van! For too long, Ulster County has gone without the critical services provided by a Social Security office. This is a major step to bringing back Ulster County’s Social Security office, which Congressman Ryan has continued to fight for.
Representatives from the Social Security office will be there alongside caseworkers from our office to assist residents with their Social Security benefits.
We will have other community partners including:
- Ulster County Office for Aging
- Legal Services of Hudson Valley
- Westchester Medical Center
- Alzheimer’s Association
- Mental Health Association in Ulster County
- New York State Attorney General’s Office
- New York State Comptroller’s Office
- American Red Cross
