The Town mower is coming around to cut back the shoulders of the roads.

Residents are asked to delineate any plantings that are directly in front of their home so the mower will not cut them down.  Plantings that are growing out into the roadway over the blacktop or obstructing the line of sight or an intersection will be cut back as a safety measure for motorists.

People are asked to trim back these plantings to the edge of the blacktop and mark the area to avoid these areas being cut down.

The Towns rite-of-way is 14’ from the edge of the blacktop and it is suggested that nothing be planted in this area.

A  suggested delineator is a bright-colored marker on each end of the plantings and on any corner - they can be made or purchased at a hardware store.
