Wallkill Valley Rail Trail Closure Notice

Attention Trail Users:

The Wallkill Valley Rail Trail restoration project from New Paltz to Gardiner is on track to be completed by the end of the year.

Starting Monday, November 7 the trail will be completely closed to all traffic in the vicinity of the Plattekill Gorge Bridge.

Please do not proceed past the barricades or closure notice signs into this dangerous work zone.

This trail closure will be in place for approximately one month so that construction crews can remove the old bridge and construct the new and improved bridge structure, deck, and railings.
