NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD

BY THE TOWN OF NEW PALTZ PLANNING BOARD , TOWN OF

NEW PALTZ, COUNTY OF ULSTER via IN PERSON/ZOOM ON:

 

DATE:            August 22nd, 2022


TIME:             7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard.

 

LOCATION:  VIA ZOOM and/or Town of New Paltz Courthouse: 59 N. Putt Corners Rd.

 

FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION OF:

 

Judith Johnson, Mark Reed III, and Daria Ilunga

Address: Cragswood Rd.  

SBL: 78.1-2-15.200 and 78.1-3-8

Zoning: A-3 and FF

 

Applicants propose a lot line revision (subdivision) between their two properties. The parcels are located on the south side of Cragswood, in the Shawangunk Ridge Environmental Area, contains Federal Wetlands, in the 100-year Flood Plain, and may have endangered or threatened animals. SBL 78.1-3-8 (“Lot 8”), an 8.74-acre parcel located at 10 Cragswood Road containing an existing house, well and septic, will convey 1.03 acres to SBL 78.1-2-15.200 (“Lot 15.200”), an adjacent 17.38-acre vacant landlocked parcel. In return, Lot 15.200 will convey 1.5 acres to SBL 78.1-3-8. The lot line revision will result in a net transfer of 0.47 net acres to Lot 8 and will give approximately 407 feet of frontage on Cragswood Road to Lot 15.200. After the lot line revision the resulting acreage of Lot 15.200 will be 16.91 acres, and the resulting acreage of Lot 8 will be 9.21 acres. There are no new improvements proposed as part of this application.

At 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, the public hearing will be opened and the Planning Board  will accept comments from all interested members of the public. The public hearing may be closed or continued at the Planning Board’s discretion.
