HELLO BAT BUDDIES. BAT-O-WEEN 2020 IS BACK ! October 31ST 1-3 p.m. Hosted by both Maggs Raggs and/also held at the Town of New Paltz Recycling Center. This fun filled celebration is part of Bat Conservation International’s Bat Week, Bat-O-Ween is part of many of these international events held October, 24-31, to educate folks about the importance of Bats in our environment. The fact is we lost over 3 millions of our “Little Brown Bat” population here in Ulster County to “Powder Nose Syndrome”, just a few short years ago, and we hope all together we can build our bat population back. THERE WILL BE Bat crafts, Bat education booths, Haunted house & Costume Contest. *Masks and social distancing please. Costumes are encouraged! Free booths spaces for vendors. We encourage vendors to bring treats for trick and treating. Volunteers are always welcome. Contact by email to Marjorie Pullman (Maggs Raggs) Mastergardener2000@gmail.com
