3/23/22 Public Hearing Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD BY THE TOWN OF NEW PALTZ ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS VIA REMOTE ACCESS ON:

DATE: MARCH 23^rd, 2022 AT           

TIME:  7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard,

FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE FOLLOWING

APPLICATION OF ZB21-533: Viking Industries for (2) AREA VARIANCES at 89 S. Ohioville Road. The applicant requests relief from (1) §140-18(D)(2)(b), which does not permit loading docks on any street frontage and (2) §140-34(A)(2)(b), which requires (1) parking space per 2,000 square feet devoted to storage or stationary operating equipment. The application and supporting documents are available on the Town website for viewing by the public. At 7:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, the Public Hearing will be opened and the Zoning Board of Appeals will accept comments from all interested members of the public. The Public Hearing may be closed or continued at the Zoning Board’s discretion.

Owing to health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with Chapter 417 of the Laws of 2021 signed into law by New York State Governor Kathy Hochul on September 2, 2021 authorizing public bodies to meet and take actions without permitting in public in-person access to meetings and authorizing such meetings to be held remotely by conference call or similar service, physical attendance by the public at the hearing will not be permitted. The public may view the hearing via YouTube as set forth above and a recording of the meeting will subsequently be made available on the Town’s YouTube channel. Public comments can be made during the hearing or e-mailed to planzoneboard@townofnewpaltz.org by 12 PM on March 23, 2022.

ALL PARTIES FOR OR AGAINST SAID SUBJECT WILL BE GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE HEARD IN RESPECT TO THIS APPLICATION.
