  3. Update on Ulster County 911 MH call diversion program: 911 is expanding current program to include police departments and asking NPPD and UCSO to pilot the program.  Looking to expand diversion program to include police departments and asking us along with the UCSO to pilot the program
  4. Discussion of  the OVW Grant awarded to Ulster County DA’s Office IPVI program and NPPD portion as a participant in the program
  5. Review recommendation of the NPPRRC: Officers who, after being provided with ample tools as outlined in this report, fail to be able to articulate and practice anti-racist policing should be recommended for termination from the NPPD.
  6. Review recommendation of the NPPRRC: All members of the NPPD, Police Commission, the Town Board, Village Board, School Board (and preferably all School District employees) participate in an assessment of their current location on the spectrum of cultural competency such as the Intercultural Development Inventory https://idiinventory.com/.
  7. Review of Traffic Stop Data – September 1, 2020 through October 31, 2021
