NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PURCHASE OF LAND AT COUNTY AUCTION

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of New Paltz at the Court house, 59 N Putt Corners Road, New Paltz, NY 12561,and via videoconference on __June 15th__________ at __7:00______ o’clock P.M. local time for the County Auction Purchase project described below, pursuant to Town’s Community Preservation Fund Program (“CPF Program”), to hear all interested persons regarding the acquisition of an interest or right in real property to preserve open space pursuant to Section 247 of the General Municipal Law, including the purchase of a contractual right necessary to achieve the purposes of such provisions, for each such project.

[County Auction purchase]:  Application submitted by _Town Board for acquisition of approximately _8.4__ acres known as Tax Map ID No (s). 86.14-2-1, in the Town of New Paltz, New York, located along Plains Road_ in the Town of New Paltz, Ulster County New York. 

The total project cost is estimated not to exceed $_3,600__, with the Town’s share estimated not to exceed $__3,600_____.  The Town’s share is proposed to be financed from the CPF Program.
