  1. Discussion of NPPRRC recommendation with staff of Ulster County Community College Criminal Justice Department and Ulster County Police Academy Co-Director regarding NPPRRC’s recommendation to use only the Dutchess County Police Academy.
  2. Review revised NPPD Policy 14.1 Rules of Conduct and draft of new NPPD Policy 141.0 Biased Based Policing. The new policy is being implemented with DCJS Procedural Justice Implicit Bias training.
  3. Executive Session to discuss personnel
  4. Review and forward to Town Board for approval: the hiring of Antonio Fazio and Jeremiah Childs as full-time police officers effective February 21, 2022 at the rate outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
  5. Review by Police Commission and refer to Town Board for approval to use $6,500.00 earmarked in the 2022 budget for new in-car computer system as well as another $2,500.00 from the computer reserve fund to upgrade the existing in-car computer systems to operate the county records management system in the patrol vehicles.
