  1. All Town Offices will be closed on Friday, November 10th for Veterans Day
  2. Once again it is that time of year!  Town residents, please remove basketball hoops from the sides of the road and cul-de-sacs.  The Town isn’t responsible for any damage to any articles in the right of ways.  Right away is 14 feet from the edge of the blacktop.

  1. Consent Agenda
    1. Approval of Minutes: October 19th, 2023
    2. Authorization for the Town to begin immediately accepting ACH direct withdrawal payments for Utility billing and possible future Property Tax payments.  This method of payment will NOT have any fees associated with it.  Notice of the new payment option along with authorization forms with full details will be sent to customers with the billing of November 30, 2023
  2. Budget discussion
  3. Approval of Highway Department to auction off 2013 Ford Pickup body and miscellaneous plows, sanders, and a three-phase generator transfer switch from old highway equipment
  4. Authorization to change the previously approved funding of the deductible ($7,050/14,100) for the CDPHP health insurance to be equivalent to MVP funding as follows:

  1. Authorization for Highway Department to sell 2 old sanders (no longer in use) to the Town of Shandaken for $300 each.
  2. Approve the appointment of Matthew Sutton to the rank of Lieutenant effective January 1, 2024
  3. Authorization for the Highway Department to purchase/have installed and fill 1000-gallon LP tank for emergency backup generator for the highway garage from Paraco on OGS pricing
  4. Authorization to modify the adopted 2023 budget for cost overruns as follows:

  1. Authorization to approve the Cooper Arias, LLP Engagement Letter 2023-2025
  2. Discussion of the proposed Retail Dispensary at 87 North Chestnut Street, in the Village of New Paltz
  3. Authorization for Ingrid Carvajal of Ruby Restaurant and Bar to have a payment plan for the restaurant’s water bill
  4. Close Public hearing on Tax cap Override, vote on law
