Announcements

  1. There will be a Rabies Clinic for dogs and cats, held on Wednesday, Wednesday, October 11th from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at the Town Highway Garage, 52 Clearwater Road, New Paltz.  Vaccinations for rabies are $15.00 each and will be administered by Dr. Laurie Stein, the traveling veterinarian.  Heartworm medication is also available.  Rabies certificates will be presented at the completion of the vaccination.  These certificates are essential for licensing dogs where they reside, as required by NYS law.

    2. Establishment of an escrow account for PB23-418, a site plan application for Agri-Business Child Development located at 355 Route 32 North, New Paltz, in the amount of $1,000.00 with a replenishment level set at $250.00
    3. Request authorization to add Diane Cano and Celinda Rodriguez to the prepay list for Community Education project painting.

  4. Authorization for the Supervisor to sign a Professional Construction Services proposal with LaBella Associates for continued professional construction services associated with contract administration and inspection of the construction for the Plains Road Water District (PRWD), installation and permitting for mechanical backup well PW-3, and contingency project management services, as well as additional authorization for $240,000.00
  5. Authorization for the Town Clerk to transmit a resolution to the County Commissioner of Public Works of the County of Ulster, establishing a lower maximum speed limit of 35MPH on Springtown Road, a County Road between Dug and Cragswood, pursuant to Section 1622.1 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law and to complete a TE9a form with the NYSDOT
  6. Review revisions to subdivision regulations as applicable to Cluster Subdivisions Chapter 121-25
  7. Review the revised Code of the Town of New Paltz Chapter 78, Building Construction and Fire Prevention
  8. Request authorization to modify the 2023 adopted budget for the use of a temp agency as follows:

  1. Authorization to offer Colonial and MassMutual Benefits at 100% employee cost
  2. Authorization to approve MVP’s published rates for 2024 at a 6.4% rate higher than 2023
  3. Authorization to purchase and install 7 biometric timeclocks (Town Hall, Highway, Recycle, Community Center, Justice Court, Youth Center, and Pool) at a cost of $1,116 each (all-inclusive, software, wi-fi capabilities, tech support, and warranty) as the final stage of the computer upgrade project
